The Centre for Translation and Textual Studies (CTTS) is a University-Designated Research Centre
of Dublin City University, Ireland. CTTS was established in 2000 to pursue research
in Translation Studies and related areas.

Interdisciplinarity and collaboration – at University (CNGL), national (An Foras Feasa)
and international levels (eCoLoMedia) – are hallmarks of the Centre’s work.
The Centre currently has 11 Faculty members, 1 External member,
23 doctoral students and 1 Postdoctoral Fellow.

Current research involves Audiovisual Translation, Community Interpreting, Discourse Analysis,
Language in Virtual Worlds, Literary Translation, Minority Language Policy, Translation History
(Trasna), Translation Pedagogy and Translation Technology.
